Function |
Function Description |
Applying Situation |
Virtual Device
(DI/DO) |
Function without connecting the actual I/O, for simulating the on-off switch control only. |
1. For status simulating when no actual I/O connection. |
2. For the HMI without connecting to the actual I/O. |
Group
Device |
Group the devices in the system as one single device for the operating convenience of HMI and the access convenience of syntax computing. |
1. For region lighting control. |
2. For the equipments that run/stop sequentially.
(built-in delay function) |
Condition Function |
This function applies the logical operation and value judgment to control the actual I/O equipments according to the status and data value of other devices. |
1. For the run/stop condition in each step of sequential
control. |
2. For the emergency auto-stop condition of all
equipment operation. |
3. Ex: the start sequential condition of HVAC. |
Mathematic
Function |
The same as the condition function, this function applies the logical operation and value judgment to control the actual I/O equipments according to the status and data value of other devices; and both are the operation syntax written by engineers. The difference is the output of the condition function is set outside the operation syntax, and the output of the mathematic function is set within the operation syntax. |
1. For unit conversion, such as the data value from the
sensor is not easy to understand. |
2. For the data value that sensor measured need to be
converted before using. |
3. Ex: the conversion of temperature and humidity, the
ice consumption forecast of HVAC, etc. |
Scheduler
Device |
Provide schedule setting; to run/stop the defined equipments in the setting time. |
1. Duty scheduler: run/stop equipments daily. |
2. Non duty scheduler: run equipments temporarily. |
3. Routinely run the pre-start process before holiday. |
Digital Control
(with reply) |
To control the on/off and monitor status of the general equipments |
1. For general devices such as lights, motors, electric
locks, etc. |
2. With DI status reply, it provides failure reply control,
remote on/off control… in the same function. |
Analog Control
(with reply) |
For numerical control/monitoring of the linear equipments. |
1. Available for three sets of AI/AO, each can control
independently. |
2. Obtain the data of three-phase power equipment and
detect if the data are unbalanced. |
PID Control |
PID forward/reverse operation. |
1. Constant temperature/pressure/humidity control,
1-to-1 or 1-to-2 set point control. |
2. The control accuracy can up to +-5%
(the actual HVAC application). |
Analog Meter |
Provide 8 groups of AI values for monitoring the linear measurements. |
1. Group the temperature and humidity data in the
same region for the planning and management
convenience. |
Access Device |
Provide the personnel access control and the related equipments linking control when the access event triggered by the personnel card access. |
1. As an access controller without using other features. |
2. Need to record video when apply the personnel
access control. |
UPS Device |
To integrate the Phoenixtec C Series UPS equipment into the system |
1. For the field case that need to monitor the system
power state. |
Monitor Device |
Integrating several manufacturer equipments into the system, and providing event-triggered video recording and the fast search mechanism, the function facilitates management easy to retrieve the video by system events. |
1. For the equipments needing long time monitoring or
embedded HMI. |
2. For critical equipments or exits that need video
record when event is triggered. |
